Our AML and Verification Commitment

This page explains, in plain language, how we verify who you are, how we monitor transactions, and what we ask of you under the anti-money-laundering rules attached to our Curaçao licence (Antillephone N.V., licence 8048/JAZ2020-13). Casinoly Casino is operated by Rabidi N.V., and every check described below exists to protect your funds and keep our platform out of criminal hands.

Our AML Policy in Brief

We hold a licence issued in Curaçao by Antillephone N.V., and that licence carries binding anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorism-financing obligations. Our compliance programme is built around those obligations: we must know who our players are, understand where their money comes from, and report suspicious activity to the relevant authorities. We do not treat these duties as paperwork; they are the reason your balance is safer with us than with an unlicensed operator.

Because we accept both fiat deposits (PayID, cards, e-wallets) and cryptocurrency (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tether and others), our obligations extend across every payment channel we offer. The same rules apply whether you deposit 20 AUD in PayID or the equivalent in ETH. We launched in 2021 with these controls in place from day one, and we review them as regulations and payment methods evolve.

  • Know Your Customer (KYC) identity checks at the points described below
  • Ongoing monitoring of deposits, withdrawals and betting patterns
  • Source of funds and source of wealth enquiries where risk requires them
  • Reporting of suspicious transactions to the authorities under our licence
  • Staff training so our team recognises and escalates red flags

When We Verify Your Identity

Verification trigger points

We verify your identity at three points. First, at registration, we collect and confirm your basic details: full legal name, date of birth, residential address, email and phone number, and we cross-check them against sanctions and restricted-country lists. Australia is a supported market; the USA, UK, France, the Netherlands and a number of other listed jurisdictions are not. Second, before your first withdrawal, we require full document verification, which is the standard practice across licensed operators. Third, at any point where your cumulative activity reaches risk thresholds or your behaviour triggers a review.

  • Registration: identity details screened against sanctions and exclusion lists
  • First withdrawal: full KYC documents before we release any funds
  • Thresholds and reviews: additional checks when activity patterns require them
  • Payment method ownership: proof that the card, e-wallet or crypto wallet you use belongs to you

Documents we accept

For identity, we accept a current government-issued photo document: passport, driver's licence or national ID card. For proof of address, we accept a utility bill, bank statement or similar official correspondence dated within the last three months showing your name and address. For payment method ownership, we accept a photo of the card (with middle digits covered), a screenshot of your e-wallet or MiFinity account, or a signed crypto wallet confirmation. Documents must be legible, complete and unedited.

How Verification Works Step by Step

Submitting your documents takes most players under ten minutes. Everything is uploaded through the secure verification area of your account settings, and you can track the status of each check there in real time. We aim to review standard submissions within 24 hours, and most are cleared well inside that window. If a document is unclear or expired, we tell you exactly what is wrong and what to resubmit, rather than leaving you guessing.

Your documents are protected from the moment of upload. They travel over encrypted connections, are stored on access-controlled servers, and are visible only to trained compliance staff who need them to complete a check. We never share your verification data with third parties except where the law or our licence requires it.

  • 1. Open the verification section in your account settings
  • 2. Upload your photo ID, making sure all four corners and the expiry date are visible
  • 3. Upload proof of address dated within the last three months
  • 4. Add payment method proof for each withdrawal method you intend to use
  • 5. We review within 24 hours; you receive email confirmation once each check is approved

Why We May Ask About Funds

For most players, KYC documents are all we ever need. Occasionally, though, our monitoring flags activity that warrants a closer look, and we will then ask you to show where the money you play with actually comes from. This is not an accusation; it is a legal obligation that applies to licensed operators everywhere, and the overwhelming majority of source of funds checks end with a simple payslip or bank statement.

Typical triggers include deposits that are large relative to your history, frequent deposits from multiple payment methods, withdrawal patterns that look like layering rather than play, or a mismatch between stated occupation and observed activity. If we ask, acceptable evidence includes recent payslips, tax returns, bank statements showing salary credits, or documentation of a business, sale or inheritance. We keep requests proportionate, and our support team is available 24/7 by live chat or at [email protected] if you are unsure what to provide.

How We Monitor Transactions

Every deposit and withdrawal on our platform passes through automated and manual review. Our systems compare transaction size, frequency, payment method and jurisdiction against your verified profile and against recognised money-laundering typologies. Our same-method rule is central to this: withdrawals must generally go back to the same card, e-wallet or crypto wallet the deposit came from. If you deposited via Skrill, you withdraw via Skrill. This stops criminals from pumping funds in through one channel and pulling them out through another that belongs to somebody else.

Our withdrawal limits also serve a monitoring function. They are set at 8,000 AUD per day and 16,000 AUD per week, with a minimum withdrawal of 20 AUD, and larger or unusual requests receive additional scrutiny before release. E-wallet and crypto withdrawals are processed within 24 hours once checks are complete; card and bank transfer withdrawals take 1 to 3 business days. We charge no fees on withdrawals, and we never speed up a payment by skipping a check.

If Verification Fails or Stalls

If we cannot verify your identity, your account is restricted and withdrawals are held until the issue is resolved. You will still be able to log in, view your balance and contact support, but funds cannot leave the account while a verification requirement is outstanding. This protects you as much as us: an unverified account is an account anyone could be sitting behind.

Where documents are simply missing or expired, fixing the situation is usually a matter of uploading a fresh copy, and restrictions lift as soon as the check passes. Where documents appear forged, where identity fraud is suspected, or where a source of funds request goes unanswered after reasonable reminders, we are obliged to close the account, freeze the balance and, where the law requires, file a report with the authorities under our licence. Where no wrongdoing is found, frozen balances are returned to you via a verified payment method. Providing false information at registration is itself grounds for confiscation of winnings and permanent closure.

  • Missing or unclear documents: withdrawalds held, account otherwise accessible
  • Expired ID: upload a current document and checks resume
  • Suspected fraud or forged documents: account closed, balance frozen, authorities notified
  • Unanswered source of funds requests: escalation and possible closure after reminders

How Long We Keep Your Documents

We retain your KYC documents and transaction records for five years after your account closes, or five years after the date of an occasional transaction, whichever our licence requires. This retention period is not our choice; it is a legal requirement designed so that financial crime can be investigated after the fact. Once the retention period expires, we delete or irreversibly anonymise your documents, and access during the retention window is limited to compliance personnel and, where lawfully compelled, the authorities.

You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you at any time by writing to [email protected], and we will respond within the timeframe required under our licence. If you self-exclude through our responsible gambling tools, which include deposit limits, loss limits, session reminders and links to Gambling Help Online on 1800 858 858, your verification records are retained under the same rules but cannot be used to market to you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to verify my account before I can deposit and play?

No. Registration screening runs automatically in the background, and you can deposit and play with only your basic details confirmed. Full document verification is required before your first withdrawal.

How long does verification take?

We review standard submissions within 24 hours, and most clear faster. If a document needs to be resubmitted, we tell you exactly what is missing.

Why must I withdraw to the same method I deposited with?

Our same-method rule confirms the funds return to their rightful owner and prevents money laundering through mismatched payment channels. It applies to cards, e-wallets and crypto wallets alike.

What happens to my documents after verification?

They are stored on encrypted, access-controlled systems for five years after your account closes, as our Curaçao licence requires, and are then deleted or anonymised.
